About
Evidence infrastructure for AI governance.
The CEI AI Governance Database gathers laws, standards, research, and cultural sources on AI governance into one searchable, versioned, provenance-aware catalog — so researchers, builders, and policymakers can find both the source and the evidence behind its assessment.
What this is
Focused discovery
Search the assessment catalog and filter it by the two dimensions the current dataset supports directly: topic and outcome.
Evidence-backed decisions
Every source exposes its five eligibility gates, three scored criteria, outcome rationale, supporting evidence, and review notes.
Versioned and exportable
Every assessment records its rubric, assessor, date, judge model, and revisit date, and filtered results export as Markdown or CSV.
The Center for Ethical Intelligence
“Guiding AI development with a stable moral foundation.”
The Center for Ethical Intelligence is committed to promoting genuine human flourishing through responsible AI development — ensuring that AI systems align with human values and intentions. This database is one part of that work: the shared evidence base that keeps governance research grounded in primary sources.
Visit ethical-intel.orgThe work behind the data
The Center’s work rests on three pillars. This database supports all three — a common reference for research, a shared map for industry engagement, and a teaching corpus for the field.
Foundational Research
Rigorous inquiry into the technical and moral foundations of AI that stays aligned with human values and intentions.
Industry Engagement
Working directly with labs and deployers to translate governance principles into practice and evidence.
Field Building & Education
Training the next generation of AI safety researchers and building the community around responsible AI.
